George Lindemann

Have you heard about ADELA ? it is a yacht but not just another one you see around. She is one of the best a "Masterpiece", her first launched was in 1903. But first, Adela, wholly rebuilt in England for American owner George Lindemann. Adela is 140 feet when measured to the tip of her sizable bowsprit. Her carbon-fiber mainmasr stands a sky bruising above the deck. She can sail up to 16 to 17 knots very quickly.

Adela had a steel frames teaks and was called at the time, " a Big Class yacht",like King Edward VII's. She's been owned and enjoyed by many and now George Lindermann purchased (1992) , restored and sail her again. By any measures, Adela was supreme and designed perfectly to sail the seven seas. On April 1997, the boat was relaunched by combining very old and very new. The owner wanted to sail and enjoy Adela for it's purposed and not one of a piece at a musuem displayed. Adela is indeed unapologetically the best of both worlds. Indeed a Masterpiece !
