Leek
I just remember that Anaps, was asking me about leeks not long time ago after I posted about my leek soup . The Leek is a vegetable belonging, along with onion and garlic family. They looklike large scallions having a very small bulb and a long whitecylindrical stalks of superimposed layers that flows into green, tighly wrapped, flat leaves.The edible portions of the leeks are the white onion base and light green stalk.And it was said to be good and can reduce bad cholesterol level and lower blood pressure too.
