I'm sure all the people who have their own pictures of the twin towers consider the photos classic now. Beautiful shot---off the back of a boat? :-) Happy Weekend!

9:13 PM
That is quite the photo. It does make one sad and also one forgets now how dominant the towers were over the Manhattan skyline.
Good photo for the theme. Thanks for visiting, have a good weekend.
9:14 PM
We watched the Nicolas Cage movie, "World Trade Center," last night, so this picture is rather haunting today.
We've only been into NYC once, though we passed through at least a dozen times. We had a blast. I told myself then that the next time we went there, we would go up to the observation deck at the WTC. The attack occurred 2 months after our visit.
9:19 PM
Classic photo that brings back sad memories. I was told that there were rumors before that it was secretly planned by the US government and there were indeed bombs planted to destroy the twin towers just like what is done in a building demolition. If so, it's a very bad move where thousands of lives were sacrificed. But it was just a rumor and there was even a video supposedly to support that theory which I wasn't able to see though.
10:14 PM
Nice shot. I have never been to NYC before. The WTC incident was indeed tragic and bringing back sad memories..
10:26 PM
This is a good idea for a classic. I picture to treasure.

Sad to say, but it's almost anachronistic to see the WTC now... lots of people got used to the big gap. UI bet New Yorkers didn't, but foreigners like me...
Anywaym great pic !
