Hello Guys! We woke-up very early today and went t see the orthopaedic for check-up and thinking Zack is going to get his cast 'ngak"! They did some x-ray again to see if the bone still intact and were so glad its doing and looking great.

My Zack, did not get any cast today because the swelling still need to go down...were going to wait for another two weeks then he get his colored cast. I am so glad, that everything looks great and hope he will settle more down before he will break it again "bohoohhoho". We went to wallyworld today and picked up some groceries and ofcourse toys...... and went to see his principal and the rest of gang, his teachers and classmates. Their all happy to see Zack and can't wait for him to come back. We decided to send him to school on Monday ( Zoo fieldtrip) and see what will happen.

Anyway, I feel a lot better today I took a long nap this afternoon , ate and I am well-rested I think...hahahaha...I will see you a little bit later guys.

I been dying to play paintball war because we have one place not far from the house but still don't have any chance yet maybe when the girls will come one of their school breaks then we will go and play crazy. This recipe is one of my favorite and my mama often cooked it almost other day...back home we cannot eat a meal without any soup. It's not necessarily a beef soup it could be using fish, chicken or just plain vegetables. But ever since I moved here I seldom cook soup maybe juts too lazy and spoiled about american foods already.

Anyway, before I miss it again here is the recipe that I used:

Ingredients:

500 gm boney parts of beef or pork (ribs, tail, etc.) 6-7 cups water 2 tsp sea salt 1 medium onion - quartered 1 celery stalk - cut into 1.5 inches long 2 bay leaves 1/2 tsp peppercorns 1-2 carrots - peeled and cut into 1/2 inch thick 2-3 potatoes - peeled and cut into 3/4 inch thick pieces 1/2 Chinese cabbage (or any cabbage) - cut into serving pieces Put the beef/pork, water, salt, onion, peppercorns, and celery in a stock pot and bring to boil. Skim off scum floating on top. Simmer for about 1 hour. Add in carrots and potatoes. Bring to boil and simmer again until meat is tender and/or potatoes are cooked. Add in cabbages and cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and serve with lemon juice and patis (fish sauce).

My Joe, been working like a cow and often missed some of the games... so as my birthday and wedding anniversary I got a fantasy football as a presents. He is now hooked on it and hoping that he will win some big bucks soon.

Hahahahah ! this would me my reaction, looking at this photo make me think of me dealing with two naughty and wild horses "aw" I mean boys ! I will share the recipe that I used cooking it and here it is:

ASADO SIOPAO recipe

Ingredients 400 grams Ground pork 1 1/2 cup Lukewarm water 1 teaspoon of finely minced garlic 2 tablespoons sugar 1 Onion chopped 1 teaspoon dry yeast 3 tablespoon Soy sauce 4 1/2 cup Rice flour 1 Star anise or cinnamon stick 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 Bay leaf 1/2 cup sugar Black pepper ground 3 tablespoons Vegetable oil 3 tablespoon Sugar extra flour and cooking oil 1 teaspoon Cooking oil 20 2-1/2 x 2-1/2 pcs of kitchen wax paper 1/4 cup Water -- SIOPAO -- 1 teaspoon cornstarch Directions Prepare the pork asado filling Heat a small saucepan Pour in the oil. Over high heat, brown the ground pork. Add the rest of the ingredients, except the water and cornstarch. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring often. Disperse the cornstarch in the water and pour into the pan. Cook, stirring, until the mixture is thick and almost dry. Set aside.

Prepare the siopao dough Sprinkle the yeast and 2 tbsp. of sugar over the lukewarm water. Let stand 10 minutes, or until bubbly, without stirring. Mix together the flour, baking powder, 1/2 c. of sugar and vegetable oil. Pour the yeast mixture into the flour mixture. Mix well. The dough will be soft. Transfer to a floured board and knead with your hands, using a pushing motion, until the dough is smooth (about 10 minutes). Form into a ball.

Lightly oil a glass bowl (big enough to handle the expansion of the dough). Place the dough in the bowl and cover with a clean damp kitchen towel for 2 hours or until double in volume. Punch down once, recover with the towel and leave to rise again for another 30 minutes.

Note that the maximum volume of the dough will depend on the quality of the flour and yeast. Divide the dough into two. Form each half into a rod by hand-rolling it on the board. Cut each rod into 8-10 pieces. Take a piece of dough and flatten it with your hands, pulling the sides to form a circle. Place a bola-bola at the center and pull up the sides and twisting at the top until the bola-bola is securely stuffed inside the dough. Do the same for the pork asado filling, using about a tablespoon of filling for each siopao. To prevent the pork asado from running down the sides of the dough, place the dough on your palm and cup your hand (as in form your hand into a scoop) before placing the pork asado at the center of the dough. Place each siopao on a piece of wax paper. Arrange on a steamer with briskly boiling water. Steam the bola-bola siopao for 20-25 minutes. The asado siopao will only need 10-12 minutes of steaming.

Makes about 20 medium-sized siopao.

I always love surfing funny pictures or videos. It's my ice breaker when I feel bored or tired of doing something else. And I found the photos above hilarious and it just tikle me looking at it. I am not done working today but I hope pretty soon...and the boys are still waiting for that Easter egg hunting and it's already or almost 3:00 PM but anyway, our neighbor dropped already and told me the reasons.

I have to park now and I will see you a little bit and do something else now. I have to do some laundry and shove all the dirty dishes to the dishwasher. The house is a mess and hope i will have the power or even the guts to clean "hahahha". babohhhhhhhhh....

Wahh ! it's cold outside...the weather is gettign crazier and crazier everday. I am at work now and the boys are whinning to start egg hunting but hey! we have to wait for it because were just invited...I really don't have any clue whe it's going to start because yesterday they told me that around 10 but it's almost 11:30 now.....here I am trying to make this boys settle down and make them wait for more minutes.

Gosh! turkey potpie was too good for breakfast my tummy is now rambling maybe I need more "hahaah"..I have to take some diet pills very soon and start losing some weights. You might think ! I'm not making sense again on writing this post and I'm pretty sure some of my friends knows why. Anyway, I will see you on my next post again and maybe I will have something descent to share .

I am now almost done with my boil eggs and now ready to soak it into the glasses of food coloring. The kids, are now want to break it and here I am getting mad and want to send them to bed. There making so much noises while watching tv and still jumping like a six rabbits...I thought their going to be so tired after playing hours at the city park but I was wrong.

Anyway, their going to go to be very soon and i will have quite moment for myself and finish all my works so I can set around or finish my Mt. Apo laundry. Dylan, is getting better but still coughing a little. We had bad thunderstorm early this morning so I was not able to sleep good and now I would love to go night night but I can't because I still have so much things to finish. Preparation: Boil water in a large kettle on stove or outdoor cooker. Season water with salt and your choice of above flavorings along with the juice of two lemons or 2 tablespoons of vinegar. Add potatoes and cook for 10 minutes. Add carrots, sausage and onions. Bring back to a boil. When potatoes and carrots are almost tender, add corn and crabs. Bring to a boil, then add shrimp. Cook a few minutes until shrimp are just done - they will be pink in color. Drain and pour into a basket or onto platters. Have cocktail sauce and Dijon mustard at hand. This is a crowd pleaser!

Optional: 2 Small onions per person 1 Carrot cut into 4ths per person 1-2 crabs per person I add 1lb of alaskan crab legs and sea scallops and its so yummy!

Most of the time I still feel some pain at my back and would really want to take something for it. We've spent all the sunday morning cleaning and cleaning the fridge ! We woke-up with a broken water plastic pipe , frozen ice and foods like negative 100 freezing to death.............it was a big mess and we finally defrozed and fixed everything and it works like new now.

And still glad though, because it finally rained and washed out all the pollens. Now we can actually smell and breath the air so fresh. Oh dear! I miss to look at the time again and it's 1:05 AM "good morning" people. I will be heading to bed soon and wake-up ealr again because work and more work "bohohohoh"...sorry, if I don't make sense right now that means I am feeling like a zombie...dogtired.
