When I was younger I never heard the word Alzheimer’s but fully aware about the name dementia. I browsed the net and found that Alzheimer’s disease is the most common type of dementia. Alzheimer’s attacks older adults and sad to say that there is still no cure for it. The disease is slowly destroys the thinking skills, memory and behavior of a person. And the disease will get worse over time and can lead to death. The number of patients with Alzheimer’s is growing rapidly and it’s very frustrating and heart breaking to the love ones of the victims. I know, how tough it is because my family had once affected by it.
There’s hope and let’s all come together and pray that a cure will be found one day. And I am happy to announce that the Alzheimer's Memory Walk is soon to be celebrated. I’ve already checked online and saw the schedules at my state. This Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk® is nationwide and its goals are to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Everyone is invited to volunteers. So guys check the website today and find a walk in your area. Let’s come together and team up with Alzheimer’s Association to help fight it. Sign up for a walk, start or join a team today and let’s all walk with a purpose. Join today.

2:54 PMWalks like that are usually fun and a good thing to volunteer for. I volunteered for a MS walk about two years ago and had a good time. I was put in charge of setting up, counting money and registering people, but I didn't actually participate in the walk. This fall, and if the people get back to me sometime soon about volunteering, I am looking to participate in a kidney walk.
