I feel crap and guilty today for eating like a pig last night. I cooked humba, rice, and miswah “nga walay subak” and was not able to stopped myself to eat more than I should. My gosh! Am a pig and totally ruined my dieting. Oh well, it was the first time for weeks since I started my diet. I better get away from the kitchen and quite cooking stuffs that’s Filipino. Today, all I can eat is salad, soup and fish. No more stuffing and pigging like a starving pig.

Happy Birthday Mama

It’s our mother’s 58th Birthday yesterday and we believe that she had a blast. We called her on the phone after my sister done talking to her and we can hear people talking and more visitors are coming in. Mag 10 years na pala nang hindi ako naka celebrate ng bithday party niya. Before, no parties naman “just a simple family gathering” and if lucky enough , we have something yummier on the table to chow.

We've been out whole day yesterday and today for some errands and I missed all the big fishes in the sea. It's getting late but my bucket is still empty and for goodness sick where all the fishes went. I'm tired,lazy and don't feel like blogging tonight. Capresso

I feel glad that all our errands for this week were all done. I was very tired from walking round and round and filling up forms yesterday at the bank while listening to my whiny kids. Joe, felt sorry for dragging me with him and took me to one of my favorite Café’s .I had a cup of espresso with biscotti and it was so refreshing. I’m thinking on buying a capresso coffee makers and espresso machine one of this days so I can make a perfect cup of espresso anytime I want. I can’t just quit drinking coffee forever. I need my coffee and tea everyday. Coffee anyone?

I been bugging Joe to replace the door knobs of the kids bedrooms for almost 2 months now and hey! His still not doing it. I have no idea what’s keeping him lately beside his job and yard works. I’ve already bought the Schlage door knobs that he requested. I just hope he will do it soon before I will do it myself. Mama and Tatay, used to sing that song together with the Si Filimon song when we were younger. Kids back home never sing any folk songs anymore but Britney songs or Regine songs. It's funny how they can sing and moves like 20 or 30 years old woman. How sad! to see kids acting not a kid. I love spring season except the pollens part though, I always love when the flowers start blooming and the trees buds are coming out. I have several flowers outside and some of them are blooming so good now . The above photo is a cherry tree and the below photo is a tulip tree. This is very true...I a more likely to play my candies than actually it eat. I love candies and their smell, colors and flavors. I can say no with them very easily but not in chocolates. We went to bed very late last night from watching "The Things" movie. I saw the movie couple of times but never got tired of it. I'm glad that it's Saturday and no school for Zack. Bad Boys

My boys, are hiding all toys and chew bones of Ruffus and poor dog is constantly looking for everything under the couch, bed and table. I called the two wild boys of mine and asked about it and they've told me that they hide the toys because Ruffus keeps on bothering them to play fetch and dog bones was hidden at the back of the couch because his dropping it on their toes. Frisbee

My Ruffus is now crazy about Frisbee,We’ve started playing with him the other day and his hooked to it. He got this squeaky rubber toys and tennis balls but he rather play with Frisbee instead. Every time we go out and he freaks out and start looking for it. We are trying to teach him how to catch the Frisbee and hopefully he’ll learn soon . I will take some photos one of his playing session soon. Oh! just took some migraine medicine and my head feels a lot lighter and better now but the pain still there but bearable that I can hop, dance and wave.Mwah!

Migraine

I missed the first episode of the Top Chef Season 4 last week but was able to watched the episode 2 late last night. Lechon Manok

We've just finished dinner and we had a rubbery, tough but yummy lechon chicken.The chicken was one of the broilers in my cage.I have no idea how old was it but golly! the boys was giving me a scary looks while chewing the meat . I guess, I will make some paksiw tomorrow and hoping it will get a little bit softer. Lechon manok is always my favorite as long it's not chewy and grilled to perfection "yum". Oh well! My boys are growing so fast and their looks are changing almost everyday. I had the chance the other day and took advantage of the moment. You can tell that Zack still hesitant to look at the camera while Dylan has no shame and made so much silly faces on his other photos. I made a photo blog exclusively for my parents and some closed relatives, so I don't have to send prints to the Philippines. But my Mama always want a prints for her album collections though. Oh well, excuse me... it's late and it's time to fold some laundry before bed.

We are watching The Descent movie now on TV and it's almost over. We saw it before and we never get tired of watching it over and over again 'who knows why'. The survivor is now in the road side freaking out and just throw-up...oh then end! Gosh,what a movie.

I watched 10,000 BC not long time ago and it was okay “ I guess!”. It’s a prehistoric epic that follows a young mammoth hunter’s journey through uncharted territory to secure the future of his tribe. I’ve heard a lot of people gave a bad reviews about this movie but for me it was okay and nothing special. You should watch it sometimes and shares your thought about it.

Tired and Sleepy

No wonder! I keep on yawning, it's 12:00AM here. I did not noticed the time. I was busy watching TV and surfing something online. yumyum bulad pinirito pinagang-kay!!!

This photo is one of the photos I posted in my food blog and I thought on sharing it here. I’ve been working on and off on that new blog for 2 weeks now and it’s almost finish. Hopefully, my mind won’t change and finish it sooner. I’m still thinking about buying a domain or not “will see”. I feel lazy lately and I’m not sure if I can handle another blog to watch, or maybe give it away to my sister. It’s time to go out and start that egg drop experiment and reading assignments of Zack. Egg Drop Experiment

I am waiting for Zack school bus right now while thinking about what to do with his egg drop experiment. I had this experiment way back in high school and I still remember what we did dropping the egg from the second floor building without breaking it. Zack is very excited about this experiment and I hope we will not waste a lot of eggs “poor hens”. I will take some photos and share it here later or who knows. I guess, you all knew me by then…if I says later then it can be the next day or never “hahahhaha”. Happy fishing and hope we all catch something big today.

I have so much eggs in the fridge right now and I hope it won't get pangit soon. My chickens are laying eggs like crazy but we cannot consume all of it. I might bring some to my neighbors one day. I made a roasted turkey omellette the other day and it was delicious. I ate a bite and Joe ate the rest.I am still on my diet but broke the rules today. We went to a birthday party and I pig-out crazy.Oh well, we had fun and happy to see some old faces.Thanks Ate Delia and Kuya Mike for inviting us.

Meet my chicken. I have 4 Cornish hens and now have 6 broiler chickens from someone we've just met at the feed store. I don't like the white chickens because their mean and eat so much "hahahha"...and keeps on bullying my poor Cornish hens. Even Ruffus don’t like them because their huge and stinky too. Every time we go outside, the dog always run straight to the fence and start barking them. I need to do something about it or else I will get broke very soon. The broiler chickens were given away because they never start laying eggs yet and who knows why. Lechon manok anyone

We are still playing our old play station 2 and were thinking on upgrading to a lot nicer and cooler one. I’m thinking Wii or an xbox 360, it’s Zack 7th birthday very soon and we thought it’s the perfect gift for him. He love to play games and this Xbox 360 will be the best pick! I received a letter from Zack school today and Dylan's name has been drawn to be eligible for Pre-K next school year. It's 12 AM and I'm wide awake watching the local news. We had tornado watch an hour ago and I don't like sleeping when we have one.Joe, was scared to death but I told him that I went outside and the weather did calm down now. Some parts of Atlanta was hit by tornado and it leaves a big messed! Oh well, I'm tired but not sleepy and speechless but happy that the house is now cleaner. My finger is now so sore...I accidentally cut it with my big sharp knife while cutting some chicken. Gosh! what in the world am I sharing here...better get out and go to sleep.

It's getting late and the house still waiting to be clean and just a minute ago my Zack asked me for his prize chocolate chip cookies and brownie fudge with M&M sprinkles. Happy Face

So much to be thankful and happy this week in spite of all the hindrances along the way. We were glad, that we made it to the Pre-K 4 slots left, Zack brought us happy faces for 2 weeks straight now, Mama and Tatay are doing great, work is good, more sleep for me, Dylan had his 4 years old shots, Ruffus bobooo is healing good, free 6 broiler chicken from a total stranger we've meet at the feed store nearby, chicken hatching box is ready, brown eggs everyday, birthday's invitations, and etc. etc., I am simply happy and thankful for all my blessing for this week.

Hey guys! want some bangus (milkfish)? I'm craving for some sinigang, paksiw , or grilled bangus right now. The closest Filipino store from here is around 1 hour to 30 minutes far. We used to have store nearby but went out of business late last year. I missed the place because I knew the owner and they had everything that a Pinoy could imagine. Not much news today. We were out the whole time yesterday doing some errands and my house chores are patiently waiting for me. So much to clean and laundry to fold but I don't have any amore` for it. I missed all the big fishes today! They swam so fast and I can’t catch any of them for my connection was crawling like a very sick cockroach. Our Ruffus was been naughty once again.He was in trouble yesterday morning for running around the neighbors yard and bringing a huge dead tree branch in the house. I was asleep and Joe took him out and I was mad when I found the living room floor covered with chewed tree bark!!! The dog loves to drag anything from the yard into the house and it's driving me insane. This morning! he went to the fire place and started chewing the charcoals "boohohoho", so much to clean now...so see you all later.

Children Of Men

I was watching the movie Children Of Men not long time ago and it was really a nice one.It's very interesting film and very well done.The only thing that I did not like...was when the lead actress died so soon. I like Clive Owen and his a good actor. This film is worth seeing if you have some crazy ideas or visions about the end of the world. Some scenes are pretty disturbing but a good movie and a must to watch. I'm fixing to watch the Jumper movie later tonight and I hope it's a good one too. I am enjoying my brown eggs everyday. My four hens are now laying 3 or more eggs a day. The boys, are enjoying their omellete and hard boil eggs too. I am now looking for a rooster so I can have another batches of chicks soon. My rooster died last winter and I have no idea why but I always tells everyone that "maybe" because the four hens don't like to snuggle with him "hahaha".

It's always nice to have fresh eggs everyday and I don't have to pay for it. Here I am, fixing some omellete and maybe I can have a bite (in my dream!).I will take photo and share it here oneday.

Bored

I am bored and hungry right now. I wish! I'm in the Philippines with friends fooling around in the mall. My dieting is going fine but it's driving me nuts everyday. I love to eat something but I can't! I have to focus and try not to let my appetite ruin everything. Joe, is now joining me and wishing to lose some more pounds too.

He stopped going to the gym for almost 2 months now because his arms are still hurting. His supposed to see a specialist but his too hard headed to do it.I better, not stop bugging him about it or else...he will be hurting forever. I am not sure if this is my 4th or 5th day of diet but it’s definitely making me better already. I feel a lot lighter and dizziness was gone. My craving of carbohydrates and sweets are still there and I am still struggling to fight it. It’s hard and getting tougher and tougher everyday. Just tonight, I cooked pork chops, sweet snap peas stir-fry and rice for the boys and I was drooling while watching them eat. Instead, I had my bowl of meso soup and plate of green salad with honey mustard on it. It was okay but I would rather have something yummier. Anyway, DIET is the hardest thing in this planet to people like me who weighed more than I should.

Monday Blues

Hungry and wishing to bite a steak and shove a huge baked-potato topped with butter, sour cream with salt and pepper. And slurp a can of cold soda, rest and start eating some chocolate mousse cake drizzled with chocolate sauce and go to sleep "bwahahah" what a plan!!! such a pig brain. I can only dream for this moment and it feels right. I ate whole wheat cereal this morning and just had my vegetable soup for lunch. It’s very tough to be on the diet! I feel like a mad woman now wanted to jump in the fridge and shove the first food that I will find. I feel dizzy and my sugar level went down “hate being diabetic” …I could use a bar of chocolate right now. I ate a bowl of vegetable soup 2 hours ago and I am ready to eat once again. Joe, is planning on grilling some burger and he beg me to eat even a bite. I told, him that I have marinated a chicken breast for dinner “yum” I can’t wait now. Green Salad And Miso Soup

I've been eating green salad with sweet mustard and vinaigrette and Miso soup for 3 days now! and I look like a lettuce dork and miso right now.
