We went to the lake house two days ago and it was kind a boring during the night because the TV was not working. I hope dad will get a new and bigger one. I feel like dragging the boys TV and bring it to the lake house next time. Blueberry Picking

We went blueberry picking today and it was a blast. It was pretty hot this afternoon but it never stopped us from picking blueberries like maniacs. The blueberry patch is like 15 minutes away from the house and its 15 acres big. There were so many blueberries to pick that you will go gaga…We only picked a bucket worth like 10 lbs for only $10. Blueberries are pretty expensive so we took advantage of the chance. Tomorrow will go visit some new friends who live down the road and pick some peanuts to boil. I’m pretty excited and I can’t wait.

We can’t wait for my sister and nephew to come next month. They will stay with us for a whole month. It has been eight years since I saw her and I hope they can stay longer than a month. We’re planning to take them to the Florida beach, maybe Disney Orlando, Smokey Mountain in North Carolina and may to the Outer Banks too. We have so many plans and I can’t wait for it to happen. I am now checking for Outer Banks rentals for a week vacation. I hope hubby can get a 10 days vacation leave. I am so excited and I’m crossing my fingers for everything to go smoothly. Father's Day

We had a blast on Father’s Day. Hubby went to work that day but we had the chance to celebrate it very briefly .The kid’s made a cute card a night before that day. It was so sweet of them to remember to do something extra special for their daddy. I was not really in the mood of preparing of cooking something special but I can resist to do something nice. I bake a chocolate cupcakes with butter cream frosting, sweet and sour pork with Japanese fried rice. It was delicious and everyone enjoyed the small feast. Hot hot and hot

Thank goodness the rain dropped by this afternoon even for short period of time. We could definitely need every drop we can get. It has been awful hot down here. Every time I check the thermometer outside it always pointing up to a 100 degrees F. Thanks for the AC that is running 24 hours a day without complaining. Hubby is off from work and we’re planning to drive up to Franklin, North Carolina to visit mom and dad. It’s our chance to get out in this hot and misery weather. Dining room

The new dining room is pretty empty too. As you can see there’s nothing else beside the table and chairs. Hopefully, I will have enough money to buy a new buffet table, a hutch and some wall decors this year. My dining room is not that big but its size is more than enough to accommodate four people and a dog.

I like this house a lot better than our old house maybe because it has more space and a lot closers to school, grocery, library and etc., The nearest beach is 1 hour and 30 minutes away ( Panama City) . The weather down here can be pretty nasty but it’s okay. Anyway, I better go back and finish to my work now.

New Kitchen

I feel guilty for not posting any recent photos in this blog since we’ve moved. It has been two months but still I have few more boxes to unpack. The photo below is my new kitchen.
