I am back! I had decaffeinated cinnamon flavored tea right now. It tastes really good. I bought few boxes at the Korean store. I wish I got the ginseng drinks too. It’s so quite and peaceful right now. If I don’t feel like sleeping after I’m done with these tasks, I might watch some soap opera. I am one of the avid followers of The Three Brothers and Pasta Korean dramas. I guess no ones here know what I am talking about. Anyway, I better go back to my work so I can go to sleep or watch TV later.
The nearest oriental store from here is less than an hour but they carry more on Korean food. We have another Asian store but it’s an hour and 30 minutes drive away from here. They have all kind of stuffs but it’s a little bit pricey. I only go there when we go to Panama City beach. Anyway, I am happy and very excited for my new discovery.

I bought a bag of cross stitch pattern almost three weeks ago and until now it is still laying on the table patiently waiting for me to start working on it. It’s neither a big pattern nor fancy designed. I got it because it’s cute and simple and not too big. I could probably finish this pattern for a week if I cross stitch everyday. It has been a long time since I touch one of these things so I am hoping I will not mess this up.
I really don’t like to buy my pattern and materials here in the State because it’s all small and pretty pricey. I wish I bought a lot while I was in the Philippines the last time. A friend is going back home this coming May so I might ask her to get me some for me. She also loves cross stitching and she has all kind of cool finished products hanging on her walls. I need to start this hobby again and see if I can finish one this year.

I was worried for awhile when I didn’t t heard anything from my parents. I was thinking that maybe because of the blackout/brownout issue in Mindanao. They have five hours brownout everyday. I hate when the electric is being ration for so many reasons. I know it only happens during El Nino but 5 to 8 hours a day without electric during the heat of summer days are not very pleasant at all.
I finally chat with my father the other day and he told me that they just got their internet connection back after a huge fire hit somewhere in Cugman, Cagayan De Oro city. I think it is still fire prevention month but the number of fire accidents is still high. Forgotten lit candles, over plugging and many others are only few of the fire culprits. I always remind my parents that as long you know your way around the house then don’t bother to light any candle or lit a lampara because it’s not very safe. Buy flashlight or rechargeable lights instead. It’s brighter and safer during the black out nights.

I am so sick right now! My cough is not going away…I had this bad cold and cough for over a week now. I am tired of taking the same medicine that doesn’t work anymore. I think its time to hit the clinic once again. I have obgyn and another dentist appointment next week. I am tired of being sick and I want to get well before the kids spring break. We have so many plans for their break and the last thing I want is me being sick. Oh my goodness! Please make me feel well and better so I can enjoy the whole week of the kid’s break.
