I wish I could take the kids to watch the ‘diary of the wimpy kid” tomorrow. They have been talking about this since the thriller came out. We even bought the whole set of books. My eldest has enjoyed reading every page of it. I would like to see the Toy Story 3 though, we watched Shrek 3 online the other day but it was not very good at all. I found it kind a boring and lame. If I can only find a decent video for the “wimpy kid” online then maybe I don’t have to waste my $50 bucks. Oh well, it’s not always so I guess its okay.

Vegetable Garden

I am so happy that my vegetable garden is done. It was a lot of work and money spent. I might add more beds next year will just wait and see first. I have yellow squash, cucumbers, Thai chili pepper, green and red peppers, tomatoes, oriental eggplant, okra, pumpkins, watermelon, mixed greens, carrots, green beans, sweet potato, onions and many more. I also have taro, lemon grass, muscadines, blue berries, oranges, lime tree and herbs. I will start planting my fruit trees maybe on early fall. It’s too hot already to start planting fruit trees; I don’t want to shock or stress the trees. Summer down south is crazy so you need to learn the word ‘timing’ for them to grow well ‘that’s only according to me’. I had this sweet barbecue pork ribs last week. It’s all I ate for the last three days. Hubby is not crazy about it so just me and the boys enjoyed the feast. extended service plan

I wish we can afford to buy an RV so we can go anywhere we want with no worries where to sleep in. I would love to own a decent size fully loaded motor home with extended service plan. My in-laws used to have an RV but they sold it for some reasons. I really like the extended service plan idea, this plan is ideal for those people with motor home who travels a lot. I can’t wait to expand the patio area. We are seriously thinking of making the patio a lot bigger to accommodate the picnic table and patio furniture. I still need to buy new outdoor cushions though. My patio set is used but the condition is like new. I hope hubby will buy the fire pit soon, so the kid’s can enjoy the marshmallow roasting. We love the outdoor when the weather is nice so I can’t wait to fix the patio before the summer season comes.

Want Some barbecue ribs

I am craving for some smoked barbecue baby back ribs from chili’s place with fried onions and cheesy fries. This kind of food can totally make you happy and guilty at the same time if you’re watching your weight. I am on a strict diet for almost four weeks now and I am too scared to blow it out because my appetite is screaming ‘saucy baby back ribs!’ Every time I feel like stuffing my mouth of something fattening I always think the things that makes me miserable and unhappy. Thinking how fat and ugly I am with a bikini makes me get back in track of dieting. It’s tough and very hard but I need to lose a lot of weight to feel and look better. My cholesterol level is bad so I am trying to stop myself from ruining my health. I am not trying to be skinny like a supermodel, all I need is to lose 15 or 20 more pounds then I am ready to go. I was so happy to hear that my childhood friend is finally pregnant. They have been wishing and trying to get pregnant for over three years now. The kid‘s bathroom faucet is broken. I hope hubby will buy the Hansgrohe faucet this time so it will last for a long period of time. This house is fairly new but things are breaking and falling apart. We still have kitchen cabinets to fix and floor to replace. I can’t wait for the money to start pouring so we can start some of the home improvement projects. Anyway, I don’t have anything else to say and I don’t have any more tasks to finish tonight so I better get out and do my house chores. You all have great and safe Wednesday night guys.

Gardening Is Fun

My garden is looking good. The tomatoes, eggplant, and peppers are growing tall. The mixed salad seedlings look tasty. I can‘t wait to grab a handful and eat it one day. Carrots, pumpkins, watermelons, green beans and onions are growing good as well. I hope I still have time to plant my ‘malunggay’ and “ampalaya” seeds before the summer is over (not even summer yet). Gardening is fun but a lot of work. I have blueberry bushes too, muscadine vines, lemon and Satsuma oranges. I can’t wait to start planting fruit trees (apple, peaches, plums, pears and etc.) .Pecan and pine trees will be planted early next year for some reasons. Anyway, we are trying to make this place livable and lively.

I can’t wait for summer to come. Hopefully, there are some summer jobs for me to do. I better get my resumes handy so I can submit one anytime I see a hiring sign. I met a new friend last weekend, she came from Florida and like me she’s looking for a job too. I can get a job anytime but I am looking for a work that will accommodate my time. I have two kids and hubby work schedules are constantly changing ever week. I am still hoping for the school to call for the next school year work , so wish me luck.
