Exciting Trips

I can’t wait to go back to the beach once again. I think some beaches that are close from here are still tar and oil free . But we’re thinking to drive down to Destin or Pensacola though, so we can take the kids down to the naval museum. My trip to Georgia is coming near and I am getting excited but nervous. I hope hubby did not forget to book our accommodation. We decided to stay for a night or two so we can take the boys around town. Stuffed With Beef

I always feel guilty every time I eat late. I just finished eating the left over grilled beef three minutes ago. I got so hungry and I can’t find anything to eat in the fridge. I don’t feel like cooking or eating anything sweet or high in carbs. I have so many things to do and I don’t know what to do first. I have a big appointment this coming August and I am getting excited and nervous.

The kids school will start very soon so I have few more school shopping to do this weekend. The weather still sucking me up and it’s depressing and sometimes unbearable. Oh well, I have to bear it until the fall comes. Anyway, I have few more tasks to finish online so I better get out now and get busy.

electric grills

I love grilled food a lot. We grill very often but not lately because of the weather are too hot to enjoy. I wish we have huge trees at the back of the house then maybe grilling is nicer. I can’t wait for hubby to get me one of those electric grills very soon. I have one in the kitchen but it’s a little bit smaller for four people. I told hubby that having an electric grill would be very convenient and we can use it indoor or outdoor. I miss eating grilled chicken and barbecue ribs. Hopefully, we will have the electric grill next weekend so we can go back on grilling.

Hot Hot Hot

The weather down south is unbearably hot and going outdoor is not fun anymore. I woke up very early this morning and went for bike ride. The temperature was still 77 °F but when I got home after 30 minutes it was already 85 °F. It was not that bad but the humidity is still killing me. Our weather forecast said that we will go up to 95°F with 73 % humidity. It should feel like more than a 100 °F. If I have a choice where I want to live right now then I will probably want to be somewhere in New Zealand, Canada or somewhere cool not cold. Anyway, I am procrastinating so I better get out now and I will see you all next post.

I am so happy that my father finally received the motorcycle helmet that I sent three months ago. He has been begging for a new full face cover helmet for months now. Wide Awake

My interview and civic test are coming very soon. I am a little bit nervous and cannot wait for it. I hate this kind of feeling. I have been studying like everyday for weeks now. I hope I will not forget all the answers or else I will be in big trouble. I need to get my butt up tomorrow and start gathering all the necessary documents. I still have taxes forms to print out and I am out of printer ink. I hope hubby will remember to order the inks soon. It’s now 12:30 AM and I am wide awake trying to finish all my online chores. We might hop the car and drive to see my in-laws tomorrow. They have computers but I don’t usually touch any when on vacation (tying to).

I still need to go shopping for an outfit. I might buy a suit set or a dress. I still don’t know what to get yet, I don’t mind whatever it is, as long its comfortable and decent. I am doing some laundry right now and I hope it will get finish soon. I might start packing later when hubby gets home. Anyway, I better get out now and finish my work. I will post some Florida photos next time.

What's Up

Thank goodness, canning vegetables and fruits are done for this week. I have few more canning sessions to finish before this summer will be over. My small cabinet is now half full of those yummy canning stuffs. I canned some blueberry jams, tomato sauce with basil, southern-style sweet and sour cucumber pickles yesterday. I can’t wait to start canning some okras next week .

I am tired and contemplating whether to hit the road tonight to North Carolina. It’s a long drive and hubby is already tired from work. I am not too crazy about going for a trip again, but I would love to see the relatives though. I hope I will not mess up my diet again. It really sucks because I work so hard to lost every inches and pounds for months now. Oh well, better wish me luck then. You all have a great days guys.

I am having trouble sleeping straight lately for some reasons. I didn’t change anything or my diet. I guess, I am thinking so many unnecessary things. Thank goodness, hubby brought some sleep pills last night for me. I sleep so good last night that my youngest son told me this morning that I snored like Ruffy (our dog). Florida Is Not in My Mind

My citizenship interview and civic test are getting close. I am pretty nervous and excited to get it over with. I have been waiting for this moment to come soon. How was your 4th of July guys? We didn’t do anything grand. Hubby bought some fireworks and we grilled some burgers and hotdogs. I baked a cake with blueberry cream cheese frosting and blueberry with jalapeno sauce. It was really good, blueberry jalapeno sauce may sound weird but it’s super delicious and different. If you like sweet and spicy then you must try this sauce too. I might bake a fudge chocolate cake and use the same frosting and see if the combination will go together. I will update you all with this baking and frosting experiments.
