Busy Cooking

I am not supposed to be blogging today but what choice do I have if I need moolah and have something to write. I could probably wait until Saturday but I might get lazy once again. Anyway, I don’t have anything to do right now. The lechon and turkey are already in the oven. The pies was baked last night and most of the side dishes are ready to be warm. All I really need to prepare later are mashed potato and gravy. It sounds a lot of baking and cooking but I didn’t really cook that much. The boys are patiently waiting for the once a year feast and they can’t wait to start soon.

I sent my old camera to my father last summer but until now he never have a chance to play with it yet. Its an old digital camera but it still in working condition. School Event

I went to school and spend Thanksgiving lunch with Dylan last week. I felt guilty and sorry that his older brother was sick and missed the event big time. It was fun and the food was good. I wish I can stay longer but they only have 30 minutes break or less. He wanted to go home with me but he has movies to watch and I was not driving the car. The school is less than a mile so I usually walk or drive my bicycle . I had fun that day and hopefully I can do it often.

My golden doodle is now three years old. Its been awhile since I posted photos of him. His very big now and getting better everyday. His still naughty though. His begging to play pitch on the first photo. His wearing my t-shirt on the second one, he hates to wear anything but I asked him to posed for a quick photo. Peanut project

My eldest holding his peanut character project proudly. They had a little contest but he didn’t made it, his points was not enough to be qualified. Oh well, it was not a big deal. He was just happy that his teacher told him that he did well.

We intentionally missed the Peanut Festival this year. I was not into it and the budget was pretty tight too. We went last year and it was nothing special. There’s nothing to die for in the festival. And the kids was not too interested of going either. Oh well, maybe next year will try again.

Trunk or Treat

The kids had fun trunk or treating during Halloween. I know that it very late to post this one but I just like to show you what my youngest son was wearing that day. My eldest was not in the mood of dressing up but his still went with his brother. We had fun during Halloween, the kids didn’t get a lot of candies this year which I am glad so they don’t have to spend weeks of eating chocolates and candies.

We also celebrated hubby’s birthday so we have more than enough food that day. I baked his favorite pound cake from scratch, jambalaya, sweet and tangy pork ribs for the kids and a lot more. It was fulfilling and fun day for everyone.

Just Bored

I feel so bored right now. I have been watching encore channel since this afternoon with Dylan. He is feeling sick so I decided to let him stay for a day. So many sick kid’s in school right now. Zacky don’t feel good too, so I sent him to bed early tonight. The kid’s get easily sick when the weather start changing. Hopefully, nobody will get pneumonia his year. I didn’t make any appointment for the flu shots yet, who knows when, maybe after our dentist appointments.
